With reference to the letter from this office of the 30th of May last, I am directed by the Duke of Newcastle to transmit to you for the information of the Postmaster General the copy of a despatch from the Officer Administering the Government of Hong Kong reporting the remittal of £8.10, charged as postage on a Box of Seeds sent to Sir Dd. Hooker from Japan in March last.
